ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 16, TO ASSEMBLY SUBSTITUTE AMENDMENT 1, TO 2005 ASSEMBLY BILL 100

AB100-ASA1-AA16,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the substitute amendment as follows:

AB100-ASA1-AA16,1,2 1. Page 33, line 22: delete that line and substitute:

AB100-ASA1-AA16,1,3 " Section 89d. 16.964 (9) (intro.) of the statutes is amended to read:

AB100-ASA1-AA16,1,7 16.964 (9) (intro.) From the appropriations under s. 20.505 (6) (kp) and (p), the office of justice assistance shall provide $185,000 $130,000 annually to the department of health and family services to distribute the following grants for children's community programs:

AB100-ASA1-AA16, s. 89g Section 89g. 16.964 (9) (b) of the statutes is repealed.

AB100-ASA1-AA16, s. 89h Section 89h. 16.964 (9) (d) of the statutes is repealed.".

AB100-ASA1-AA16,2,18 20.505 (6) (kp) Anti-drug enforcement program, penalty surcharge — local. The amounts in the schedule to match federal funds made available under subtitle K of title I of P.L. 99-570. All moneys transferred from the appropriation account under par. (j) s. 20.455 (2) (i) 3. shall be credited to this appropriation account.".

AB100-ASA1-AA16,2,21 " Section 2226t. 302.05 (1) of the statutes is renumbered 302.05 (1) (a), and 302.05 (1) (a) (intro.), as renumbered, is amended to read:

AB100-ASA1-AA16,3,5 302.05 (1) (a) (intro.) The department of corrections and the department of health and family services may designate a section of a mental health institute as a correctional treatment facility for the treatment of substance abuse of inmates transferred from Wisconsin state prisons. This section shall be administered by the department of corrections and shall be known as the Wisconsin substance abuse program. The department of corrections and the department of health and family services shall ensure that the residents at the institution and the residents in the substance abuse program:

AB100-ASA1-AA16,3,9 302.05 (1) (b) The department of corrections may designate all or part of any state prison as a correctional treatment facility and provide, at that facility, programs for treating the abuse of alcohol or other drugs by inmates.".
