ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 1, TO 2005 ASSEMBLY BILL 162

AB162-AA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB162-AA1,1,2 1. Page 1, line 7: after "affairs" insert ", as described under s. 45.37 (9) (h)".

AB162-AA1,1,3 2. Page 1, line 7: after that line insert:

AB162-AA1,1,5 " Section 1m. 77.54 (48) of the statutes, as created by 2005 Wisconsin Act .... (this act), is amended to read:

AB162-AA1,1,9 77.54 (48) The gross receipts from the sale of and the storage, use, or other consumption of tangible personal property and taxable services sold by a home exchange service that is owned by the department of veterans affairs, as described under s. 45.37 (9) (h) 45.51 (7) (e).".

AB162-AA1,1,10 3. Page 2, line 1: delete lines 1 to 3 and substitute:

AB162-AA1,1,12 " Section 2m. Effective dates. This act takes effect on the first day of the 2nd month beginning after publication, except as follows:

AB162-AA1,2,3 (1) The amendment of section 77.54 (48) of the statutes takes effect on the first day of the 2nd month beginning after publication or on the day after publication of 2005 Wisconsin Act ... (2005 Assembly Bill 210), whichever is later.".
