ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 4, TO 2005 ASSEMBLY BILL 500

AB500-AA4,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB500-AA4,1,3 1. Page 67, line 13: delete "federal international" and substitute "federal inland".

AB500-AA4,1,4 2. Page 67, line 14: delete "as".

AB500-AA4,1,6 3. Page 67, line 15: delete "implemented by 33 CFR part 81 and interpreted by 33 CFR part 82".

AB500-AA4,1,8 4. Page 73, line 11: delete "as part of the boat's electrical system" and substitute ", other than a dry cell battery".

AB500-AA4,1,12 5. Page 76, line 15: delete lines 15 to 17 and substitute "a motorboat shall be so controlled as to avoid colliding with any object lawfully in or on the water or with any person, boat, or other conveyance in or on the water in compliance with legal requirements and exercising due care.".

AB500-AA4,2,2 6. Page 85, line 10: delete "in restricted use areas" and substitute "in restricted use areas".

AB500-AA4,2,3 7. Page 94, line 8: delete "and assist".

AB500-AA4,2,4 8. Page 94, line 8: after "enacting" insert "ordinances".
