AB886-AA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB886-AA1,1,2 1. Page 2, line 13: after that line insert:

AB886-AA1,1,6 "(am) The department shall notify towns and counties of the opportunity to apply for grants under this subsection. The department shall establish an annual grant cycle, with the applications due from towns and counties no later than September 1 of each year.".

AB886-AA1,1,8 2. Page 2, line 14: delete "par. (c), the department may" and substitute "pars. (c) to (e), the department shall".

AB886-AA1,1,9 3. Page 3, line 12: after that line insert:

AB886-AA1,1,12 "(f) If a town or county acquires development rights that are separate from the land, the town or county may acquire the development rights in perpetuity or for a fixed period of time.

AB886-AA1,2,2 (g) The department shall fund all of the requests under this subsection in their entirety. The department may not prioritize or partially fund the requests.".
