SENATE AMENDMENT 1, TO 2005 SENATE BILL 175

SB175-SA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

SB175-SA1,1,3 1. Page 1, line 2: after "Program" insert ", granting bonding authority, and making an appropriation".

SB175-SA1,1,4 2. Page 1, line 3: before that line insert:

SB175-SA1,1,5 " Section 1m. 20.866 (2) (t) of the statutes is amended to read:

SB175-SA1,1,13 20.866 (2) (t) University of Wisconsin; self-amortizing facilities. From the capital improvement fund, a sum sufficient for the board of regents of the University of Wisconsin System to acquire, construct, develop, enlarge or improve university self-amortizing educational facilities and facilities to support such facilities. The state may contract public debt in an amount not to exceed $992,385,200 $997,385,200 for this purpose. Of this amount, $4,500,000 is allocated only for the University of Wisconsin-Madison indoor practice facility for athletic programs and only at the time that ownership of the facility is transferred to the state.".

SB175-SA1,2,2 3. Page 1, line 3: delete the material beginning with that line and ending with page 2, line 3, and substitute:

SB175-SA1,2,3 " Section 1r. Nonstatutory provisions; building commission.

SB175-SA1,2,8 (1) 2003-05 State building program addition. In 2003 Wisconsin Act 33, section 9106 (1) (g) 2., under projects financed by program revenue supported borrowing for the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, the following project is added to the 2003-05 authorized state building program and the appropriate totals are increased by the amounts shown:".
