SENATE AMENDMENT 11, TO 2005 SENATE BILL 618

SB618-SA11,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

SB618-SA11,1,2 1. Page 6, line 22: after that line insert:

SB618-SA11,1,4 " Section 12g. 121.08 (4) (b) of the statutes, as affected by 2005 Wisconsin Act 25, is renumbered 121.08 (4) (b) (intro.) and amended to read:

SB618-SA11,1,8 121.08 (4) (b) (intro.) The amount of state aid that the school district operating under ch. 119 is eligible to be paid from the appropriation under s. 20.255 (2) (ac) shall also be reduced by 45% of the amounts paid under s. 119.23 (4) and (4m) in the current school year. the following amounts:

SB618-SA11, s. 12r Section 12r. 121.08 (4) (b) 1. and 2. of the statutes are created to read:

SB618-SA11,1,13 121.08 (4) (b) 1. Forty-five percent of the amounts paid under s. 119.23 (4) and (4m) in the current school year for the number of pupils attending private school under s. 119.23 in the current school year or the number who attended private school under s. 119.23 in the 2005-06 school year, whichever is less.

SB618-SA11,2,4 2. Thirty percent of the amounts paid under s. 119.23 (4) and (4m) in the current school year for the number of pupils attending private school under s. 119.23 in the current school year that exceeds the number of pupils who attended private school under s. 119.23 in the 2005-06 school year.".

SB618-SA11,2,8 "(2) The renumbering and amendment of section 121.08 (4) (b) of the statutes and the creation of section 121.08 (4) (b) 1. and 2. of the statutes first applies to state aid distributed in the 2006-07 school year.".
