SENATE AMENDMENT 1, TO 2007 ASSEMBLY BILL 26

AB26-SA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB26-SA1,1,3 1. Page 1, line 4: before that line, after the material inserted by assembly amendment 1, insert:

AB26-SA1,1,4 " Section 1h. 346.465 (1) of the statutes is amended to read:

AB26-SA1,1,6 346.465 (1) Subject to s. 346.01 (2), the owner of a motor vehicle involved in a violation of s. 346.46 (2m) shall be liable for the violation as provided in this section.".

AB26-SA1,1,7 2. Page 2, line 4: delete "(b) or".

AB26-SA1,1,10 3. Page 2, line 5: delete "$30 nor more than $300" and substitute "$50 nor more than $100 for the first offense and not less than $100 nor more than $300 for the 2nd or subsequent conviction within a year".

AB26-SA1,1,11 4. Page 2, line 5: after that line insert:

AB26-SA1,1,12 " Section 2m. 346.49 (1) (b) of the statutes is amended to read:

AB26-SA1,2,3 346.49 (1) (b) Any operator of a bicycle or electric personal assistive mobility device violating s. 346.46 (1), (2m) or (4) may be required to forfeit not more than $20.".
