(3) From the appropriations under s. 20.410 (3) (d) and (kj), the
9department shall allocate $150,000 in each fiscal year to enter into a contract with
10an organization to provide services in Racine County, $150,000 in each fiscal year to
11enter into a contract with an organization to provide services in Kenosha County,
12$150,000 in each fiscal year to enter into a contract with an organization that is
13located
in ward 1 in the city of Racine to provide services in Racine County, and
14$150,000 in each fiscal year to enter into a contract with an organization to provide
15services in Brown County, and from the appropriation under s. 20.410 (3) (kj), the
16department shall allocate $100,000 in each fiscal year to enter into a contract with
17an organization, for the diversion of youths from gang activities into productive
18activities, including placement in appropriate educational, recreational, and
19employment programs, and for alcohol or other drug abuse education and treatment
20services for participants in that organization's youth diversion program.
The
21organization that is located in ward 1 in the city of Racine shall have a recreational
22facility, shall offer programs to divert youths from gang activities, may not be
23affiliated with any national or state association, and may not have entered into a
24contract under s. 301.265 (3), 1995 stats. Notwithstanding s. 16.75
and except for
1the contract that must be awarded to an organization that is be located in the city
2of Racine, the department may enter into
a
any contract under this subsection
3without soliciting bids or proposals and without accepting the lowest responsible bid
4or offer.".

20willing and able to participate in a work, education, or program assignment, but no
21assignment is available to him or her. The department shall prescribe the amounts

21(1) who applies to the department of transportation for registration of a motor vehicle
22under ch. 341 shall identify himself or herself in the application as a person to whom
23special registration plates shall be issued under s. 341.14 (6y).

1(b) If a person registered in his or her name any motor vehicle under ch. 341
2prior to becoming covered under sub. (1), the person shall, immediately after
3becoming covered under sub. (1), apply to the department of transportation for

5identifying himself or herself in the application for replacement registration plates
6as a person to whom special registration plates shall be issued under s. 341.14 (6y).

(1) Except as provided in sub. (5), liability for medical and dental
19services furnished to residents housed in prisons identified in s. 302.01, in a juvenile
20correctional facility, or in a secured residential care center for children and youth, or
21to forensic patients in state institutions for those services that are not provided by

or under contract pursuant to s. 301.03 (3k) shall be
23limited to the amounts payable under ss. 49.43 to 49.47, except s. 49.468, for similar
24services. The department may waive any such limit if it determines that needed
1services cannot be obtained for the applicable amount. No provider of services may
2bill the resident or patient for the cost of services exceeding the amount of the liability
3under this subsection.".

6302.43 Good time. Every inmate of a county jail is eligible to earn good time
7in the amount of one-fourth of his or her term for good behavior if sentenced to at
8least 4 days, but fractions of a day shall be ignored. An inmate shall be given credit
9for time served prior to sentencing under s. 973.155, including good time under s.
10973.155 (4). An inmate who violates any law or any regulation of the jail, or neglects
11or refuses to perform any duty lawfully required of him or her, may be deprived by
12the sheriff of good time under this section, except that the sheriff shall not deprive
13the inmate of more than 2 days good time for any one offense without the approval
14of the court. An inmate who files an action or special proceeding, including a petition
15for a common law writ of certiorari, to which s. 807.15 applies shall be deprived of
16the number of days of good time specified in the court order prepared under s. 807.15
17(3). This section does not apply to a person who is confined in the county jail in
18connection with his or her participation in a substance abuse treatment program
19that meets the requirements of s.

17information is necessary for the health and safety of the prisoner or of other

20prisoner by a jailer, of any other employee of the prison or jail, or of a law enforcement
21officer or other person who is responsible for transferring the prisoner to or from a
22prison or jail, receiving institution intake staff shall disclose that information to the
23persons specified in par. (f) 1. to 4. and to that correctional officer, person with
24custodial authority, law enforcement officer, or other person.

5health and safety of the prisoner or of other prisoners, of a correctional officer who

7designated with custodial authority over the prisoner by a jailer, of any other
8employee of the prison or jail, or of a law enforcement officer or other person who is
9responsible for transferring the prisoner to or from a prison or jail, the department

11may be made available under par. (a) and to that correctional officer, person with
12custodial authority, law enforcement officer, or other person.".

(6y) Upon application by a person who is a sex offender, the department
23shall issue and deliver to the person plates of a special design, in lieu of the plates
24that ordinarily would be issued for the vehicle, and shall renew the plates. The plates
1shall have a chartreuse-colored background. The department shall design the plates
2so as to readily apprise law enforcement officers of the fact that the vehicle is owned
3by a sex offender. A fee of $30, in addition to the prescribed registration fee, shall be
4charged for the issuance or renewal of such plates. If at any time the owner of the
5vehicle is no longer a sex offender, the owner may dispose of these special plates in
6a manner prescribed by the department and shall obtain replacement plates for the
7vehicle.
