SB439-SA2,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

SB439-SA2,1,2 1. Page 2, line 11: delete lines 11 to 18 and substitute:

SB439-SA2,1,6 "(2) Retention of certain information prohibited. (a) No person that accepts an account access device in connection with a sale of goods or services may retain for more than 48 hours after the sale is authorized any of the following obtained from the account access device:

SB439-SA2,1,7 1. A security code.

SB439-SA2,1,8 2. A personal identification number.

SB439-SA2,1,9 3. The full contents of a magnetic stripe on the access device.

SB439-SA2,1,12 (b) No service provider may retain any of the following obtained from an account access device in connection with a sale of goods or services after the sale is authorized:

SB439-SA2,1,13 1. A security code.

SB439-SA2,2,1 2. A personal identification number.

SB439-SA2,2,2 3. The full contents of a magnetic stripe on the access device.".
