AB40-ASA1,1514,5 (1c) Disciplinary provisions for police and fire personnel in cities other than Milwaukee. The treatment of section 111.70 (4) (c) 2. a. and b. and (mc) 1., 2., and 3. of the statutes first applies to an employee who is covered by a collective bargaining agreement on the day on which the collective bargaining agreement expires or is extended, modified, or renewed, whichever occurs first.

AB40-ASA1,1514,9 (1r) Arbitration under MERA. The treatment of sections 111.70 (4) (jm) 4w. and 5. (intro.) of the statutes, the renumbering and amendment of section 111.77 (6) of the statutes, and the creation of section 111.77 (6) (am) of the statutes first apply to a petition for arbitration that is filed on the effective date of this subsection.

AB40-ASA1,1514,19 (2i) Metropolitan sewerage district commissioner per diems. The treatment of section 200.09 (1) and (7) of the statutes first applies to a commissioner who is appointed or reappointed on the effective date of this subsection, except that if a commission specifies by resolution a per diem amount that is at least equal to the per diem amount that is paid before the resolution takes effect, the amount specified in the resolution applies to a commissioner on the effective date of that resolution.

AB40-ASA1,1514,22 (2q) Room tax; expenditure by a tourism entity. The treatment of section 66.0615 (1m) (d) 7. of the statutes first applies to room tax revenue that is paid to a municipality on the effective date of this subsection.

AB40-ASA1,1515,2 (2r) Health care coverage plan selection under MERA. The treatment of section 111.70 (4) (mc) 6. of the statutes first applies to an employee who is covered by a collective bargaining agreement under subchapter IV of chapter 111 of the statutes when the collective bargaining agreement expires or is extended, modified, or renewed, whichever occurs first.

The treatment of section 119.23 (7) (d) 1. of the statutes first applies to private schools participating in the program under section 119.23 of the statutes, as affected by this act, in the 2011-12 school year.

AB40-ASA1,1517,20 (3u) American Red Cross, Badger Chapter checkoff. The treatment of section 71.10 (5k) of the statutes first applies to taxable years beginning on January 1 of the year in which this subsection takes effect, except that if this subsection takes effect after July 31 the treatment of section 71.10 (5k) of the statutes first applies to taxable years beginning on January 1 of the year following the year in which this subsection takes effect.

AB40-ASA1,1517,22 (4) Combined reporting election. The treatment of section 71.255 (2m) (d) of the statutes first applies retroactively to taxable years beginning on January 1, 2009.

AB40-ASA1,1517,25 (4d) Student housing facilities property tax exemption. The treatment of section 70.11 (intro.) and (3m) of the statutes first applies to the property tax assessments as of January 1, 2012.

AB40-ASA1,1518,3 (5f) Subtract modification, EdVest. The treatment of section 71.05 (6) (b) 28. h., 32. (intro.), and 33. (intro.) of the statutes first applies to taxable years beginning on January 1, 2011.

AB40-ASA1,1519,8 (b) The treatment of sections 341.405 (3m) (c), 341.41 (7), and 341.63 (1r) of the statutes first applies to applications received by the department of transportation on the effective date of this subsection.

AB40-ASA1,1519,12 (c) The treatment of sections 343.315 (2) (h) and 343.44 (1) (c) of the statutes first applies to violations committed on the effective date of this subsection, but does not preclude the counting of other violations as prior violations for purposes of administrative action by the department of transportation or sentencing by a court.

AB40-ASA1,1519,14 (d) The treatment of section 341.63 (3) (b) of the statutes first applies with respect to federal out-of-service orders issued on the effective date of this subsection.

AB40-ASA1,1519,25 (5) Motor vehicle environmental impact fee. The treatment of sections 25.40 (1) (a) 3. and 5m., 25.46 (19), 84.59 (2) (b), and 342.14 (1), (1r), and (3) of the statutes first applies to fees collected by the department of transportation on the effective date of this subsection.
