AB7-SA24,1,2 At the locations indicated, amend the bill, as shown by assembly substitute amendment 2, as follows:

AB7-SA24,1,3 1. Page 62, line 24: after that line insert:

AB7-SA24,1,4 " Section 108g. 69.22 (1) (intro.) of the statutes is amended to read:

AB7-SA24,1,6 69.22 (1) (intro.) Except as provided in sub. subs. (6) and (7), the state registrar and any local registrar acting under this subchapter shall collect the following fees:

AB7-SA24, s. 108m Section 108m. 69.22 (7) of the statutes is created to read:

AB7-SA24,1,12 69.22 (7) The state registrar and any local registrar acting under this subchapter may not collect the fees described in sub. (1) (c) if the requester states, in writing, that the requester is an elector and that the birth certificate is being obtained for the purpose of obtaining an operator's license issued under ch. 343 or an identification card issued under s. 343.50 for purposes of voting.".
