SB368-SA5,1,11 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:
SB368-SA5,1,2 21. Page 16, line 6: after that line insert:
SB368-SA5,1,3 3" Section 58m. 281.36 (1) (at) of the statutes is created to read:
SB368-SA5,1,54 281.36 (1) (at) "Exceptional wetland resource" means a wetland that is an
5intact wetland or is a wetland that is one of the wetland types specified in sub. (1r).".

SB368-SA5,1,7 7"Section 60m. 281.36 (1) (bh) of the statutes is created to read:
SB368-SA5,1,98 281.36 (1) (bh) "Intact wetland" means a wetland that has intact natural
9hydrology and an intact native plant community.".

1281.36 (1r) Exceptional wetland resources. For purposes of this section, a
2wetland qualifies as an exceptional wetland resource if it is determined by the
3department to be any of the following wetland types:
SB368-SA5,2,44 (a) A wetland type that is vulnerable to extinction.
SB368-SA5,2,65 (b) A wetland type that is not vulnerable to extinction, but that is rare in this
6state or in parts of its natural range.
SB368-SA5,2,87 (c) A wetland type that cannot be reestablished by using generally accepted
8restoration methods.".
SB368-SA5,2,11 94. Page 20, line 1: delete lines 1 to 9 and substitute "prohibit discharges into
10wetlands that are identified by the department as being exceptional wetland
11resources.".
SB368-SA5,2,12 125. Page 28, line 24: after that line insert:
SB368-SA5,2,14 13"4. The proposed project will not cause any significant adverse impact to an
14exceptional wetland resource.".
