SENATE AMENDMENT 1, TO 2011 SENATE BILL 64

SB64-SA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

SB64-SA1,1,3 1. Page 1, line 1: delete the material beginning with "adoption" and ending with "with" on line 3 and substitute: "the name and last-known address of".

SB64-SA1,1,5 2. Page 1, line 3: after "of" insert "a child to an agency that is determining the availability of an adoptive placement for".

SB64-SA1,1,6 3. Page 2, line 3: after "(1g)," insert "(1m),".

SB64-SA1,1,8 4. Page 2, line 4: delete the material beginning with "(j),;" and ending with "(br);" on line 7 and substitute: "(j),".

SB64-SA1,1,9 5. Page 2, line 7: after that line insert:

SB64-SA1,1,10 " Section 1m. 48.93 (1m) of the statutes is created to read:

SB64-SA1,2,4 48.93 (1m) If an adoptive parent or proposed adoptive parent of a child consents, the court or the agency that placed the child for adoption in the home of the adoptive parent or proposed adoptive parent may disclose the name and last-known address of the adoptive parent or proposed adoptive parent to an agency that is determining the availability of an adoptive placement for a sibling of the child under s. 48.38 (4) (br), 48.834 (2), or 938.38 (4) (br).".
