ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 9, TO ASSEMBLY BILL 2

AB2-AA9,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB2-AA9,1,2 1. Page 2, line 1: delete lines 1 to 5 and substitute:

AB2-AA9,1,3 " Section 1m. 234.83 (title) of the statutes is amended to read:

AB2-AA9,1,5 234.83 (title) Small business Business development loan guarantee program.".

AB2-AA9,1,6 2. Page 2, line 6: after that line insert:

AB2-AA9,1,7 " Section 2m. 234.83 (1c) (am) of the statutes is created to read:

AB2-AA9,1,9 234.83 (1c) (am) "Large business" means a business, as defined in s. 84.185 (1) (a), that employes 51 to 250 employees on a full-time basis.".

AB2-AA9,1,10 3. Page 2, line 9: after " small" insert "or large".

AB2-AA9,1,11 4. Page 2, line 10: after " small" insert "or large".

AB2-AA9,2,2 5. Page 2, line 12: delete that line and substitute "the small or large business appears on that docket, the owner of the small or large business provides".

AB2-AA9,2,3 6. Page 3, line 14: after that line insert:

AB2-AA9,2,4 " Section 7m. 234.83 (5) of the statutes is created to read:

AB2-AA9,2,8 234.83 (5) Funding. Of the total amount of the Wisconsin development reserve fund under s. 234.93 that the authority allocates to fund guarantees under this section, the authority shall allocate at least 50 percent to provide guarantees to small businesses under this section.".
