ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 2, TO ASSEMBLY SUBSTITUTE AMENDMENT 1, TO ASSEMBLY BILL 225

AB225-ASA1-AA2,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the substitute amendment as follows:

AB225-ASA1-AA2,1,5 1. Page 20, line 10: after "application." insert "The board shall ensure that, if the residence location entered by an elector is not the same as the elector's address in the records of the department of transportation, the elector's information is not verified and the elector's registration is not complete.".

AB225-ASA1-AA2,1,6 2. Page 37, line 1: delete lines 1 to 10.

AB225-ASA1-AA2,1,7 3. Page 45, line 1: delete "or individual and substitute "or individual".

AB225-ASA1-AA2,1,11 4. Page 45, line 3: delete "$25" and substitute "$25 $500, no individual supporting or opposing the election or nomination of a candidate at an election, other than a candidate or agent of a candidate, may accept any contribution or contributions exceeding $1,000".

AB225-ASA1-AA2,2,1 5. Page 45, line 8: delete lines 8 to 15.

AB225-ASA1-AA2,2,3 6. Page 46, line 22: delete the material beginning with that line and ending with page 47, line 12.

AB225-ASA1-AA2,2,4 7. Page 48, line 5: delete "individual or" and substitute "individual or".

AB225-ASA1-AA2,2,5 8. Page 48, line 6: delete "$25" and substitute "$25 $500".

AB225-ASA1-AA2,2,8 9. Page 48, line 7: after "state," insert "every nonresident individual making disbursements to support or oppose the election or nomination of a candidate at an election exceeding $1,000 cumulatively in a calendar year within this state,".

AB225-ASA1-AA2,2,9 10. Page 50, line 6: after that line insert:

AB225-ASA1-AA2,2,15 "(3) If a conduit redirects a contribution under this section, the conduit shall include in its report under s. 11.12 (5) or 11.20 for the reporting period during which the contribution is redirected the information about the original contributor required for reporting purposes under s. 11.06 (1) (a) and (b) for the dates on which the contribution is received and redirected and whether the contribution is redirected to a sponsor or to an administrative fund of the conduit.".
