ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 2, TO SENATE AMENDMENT 1, TO ASSEMBLY BILL 396

AB396-SA1-AA2,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the amendment as follows:

AB396-SA1-AA2,1,3 1. Page 1, line 3: after "home" insert "who maintains another residence outside the home in this state".

AB396-SA1-AA2,1,5 2. Page 1, line 4: after "residence or" insert ", if the elector maintains a residence at the home or at another location in this state,".

AB396-SA1-AA2,1,8 3. Page 1, line 6: after "resides." insert "An elector who resides at a home but does not wish to cast his or her vote at the home shall so indicate on his or her absentee ballot application.".

AB396-SA1-AA2,1,9 4. Page 1, line 11: after that line insert:

AB396-SA1-AA2,1,11 "2m. Page 8, line 14: delete "Vote" and substitute "If the elector maintains a residence outside the facility or home, vote".

AB396-SA1-AA2,2,3 "2n. Page 8, line 17: delete "If the elector maintains a residence outside the facility or home," and substitute "If the elector resides at the facility or home or maintains a residence in this state outside the facility or home,".

AB396-SA1-AA2,2,6 2o. Page 8, line 19: after "residence." insert "An elector who resides in a facility or home but does not wish to cast his or her absentee ballot at the facility or home shall so indicate on his or her absentee ballot application.".

AB396-SA1-AA2,2,8 2p. Page 10, line 14: after "clerk" insert "from electors who wish to cast their ballots at the facility or home".

AB396-SA1-AA2,2,10 2q. Page 10, line 22: after "ballot" insert "and who wishes to cast the ballot at the facility or home".".
