ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 12, TO ASSEMBLY BILL 493

AB493-AA12,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB493-AA12,1,2 1. Page 1, line 4: after "cards" insert "and certain other forms of identification".

AB493-AA12,1,3 2. Page 2, line 3: after that line insert:

AB493-AA12,1,4 " Section 1m. 5.02 (6m) (h) and (i) of the statutes are created to read:

AB493-AA12,1,11 5.02 (6m) (h) A card issued by the federal social security administration that shows proof of eligibility for the Medicare program; a card that is issued by the department of health services and is known as a ForwardHealth card and that shows proof of eligibility for the Medical Assistance program; a card that shows proof of eligibility for the federal food stamp program under 7 USC 2011 to 2036a; or any card that shows eligibility for the supplemental security income program under 42 USC 1381 to 1383d.

AB493-AA12,1,13 (i) Any other unexpired identification card issued by the federal government, a state agency, as defined in s. 20.001 (1), or the government of any other state.".
