ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 1, TO ASSEMBLY BILL 82

AB82-AA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB82-AA1,1,2 1. Page 1, line 2: after "benefits" insert "and making an appropriation".

AB82-AA1,1,3 2. Page 3, line 3: after that line insert:

AB82-AA1,1,4 " Section 2m. Fiscal changes.

AB82-AA1,2,3 (1) District attorneys. In the schedule under section 20.005 (3) of the statutes for the appropriation to the department of administration under section 20.475 (1) (d) of the statutes, as affected by the acts of 2013, the dollar amount is increased by $125,000 for the first fiscal year of the fiscal biennium in which this subsection takes effect to provide additional assistant district attorneys in the areas identified in an audit conducted by the legislative audit bureau in 2007 as needing additional personnel. In the schedule under section 20.005 (3) of the statutes for the appropriation to the department of administration under section 20.475 (1) (d) of the statutes, as affected by the acts of 2013, the dollar amount is increased by $125,000 for the second fiscal year of the fiscal biennium in which this subsection takes effect to provide additional assistant district attorneys in the areas identified in an audit conducted by the legislative audit bureau in 2007 as needing additional personnel.".
