3the applicant to indicate that he or she does not have an identifying document as
4specified under s. 6.34 (3) (a) and to request that the clerk verify the applicant's
5residence by mail, as provided under s. 6.34 (3) (d).

12municipal clerk verify the elector's address by mail, in the manner prescribed by the

1board. If the clerk is able to verify that the elector's address is both correct and a valid
2address for voting in the election district, the clerk shall accept the verification as
3proof of residence for purposes of this section.".".
