SB267-AA2-AA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the amendment as follows:

SB267-AA2-AA1,1,5 1. Page 2, line 17: after "location." insert "The form shall include a space for the applicant to indicate that he or she does not have an identifying document as specified under s. 6.34 (3) (a) and to request that the clerk verify the applicant's residence by mail, as provided under s. 6.34 (3) (d).".

SB267-AA2-AA1,1,6 2. Page 4, line 8: after "(3)" insert "except as provided under sub. (3) (d)".

(a), the elector may, on the registration form, request that the municipal clerk verify the elector's address by mail, in the manner prescribed by the board. If the clerk is able to verify that the elector's address is both correct and a valid address for voting in the election district, the clerk shall accept the verification as proof of residence for purposes of this section.".".
