AB27-SSA1,1,3 1An Act to renumber and amend 346.57 (4) (gm); and to create 346.57 (4) (gm)
22. of the statutes; relating to: the maximum speed limit on freeways and
3expressways.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:

AB27-SSA1,1 4Section 1. 346.57 (4) (gm) of the statutes is renumbered 346.57 (4) (gm) 1. and
5amended to read:

AB27-SSA1,1,76 346.57 (4) (gm) 1. Sixty-five Except as provided in subd. 2., 65 miles per hour
7on any freeway or expressway.

AB27-SSA1,2 8Section 2. 346.57 (4) (gm) 2. of the statutes is created to read:

AB27-SSA1,2,29 346.57 (4) (gm) 2. Seventy miles per hour on any freeway, including freeways
10that are a part of the national system of interstate and defense highways, and on any

1portion of an expressway that gives preference to through traffic by utilizing
2interchanges only.
