Amendment AA1-AB422

AB422-AA1,1,12 27.01 (1) Purpose. It is declared to be the policy of the legislature to acquire, improve, preserve, maintain, provide funding for, and administer a system of areas to be known as the state parks of Wisconsin. The purpose of the state parks is to provide areas for public recreation and for public education in conservation and nature study. An area may qualify as a state park by reason of its scenery, its plants and wildlife, or its historical, archaeological, or geological interest. The department shall be responsible for the selection of a balanced system of state park areas and for the acquisition, development, and administration of the state parks. No admission charge shall be made to any state park, except as provided in subs. (7) to (9).

AB422-AA1,1c Section 1c. 27.01 (7) (f) 1. of the statutes, as affected by 2015 Wisconsin Act 55, is amended to read:

AB422-AA1,2,5 27.01 (7) (f) 1. Except as provided in par. (gm), the fee for an annual vehicle admission receipt is $27.50 $24.50 for each vehicle that has Wisconsin registration plates, except that no fee is charged for a receipt issued under s. 29.235 (6).

AB422-AA1,1d Section 1d. 27.01 (7) (f) 2. of the statutes, as affected by 2015 Wisconsin Act 55, is amended to read:

AB422-AA1,2,10 27.01 (7) (f) 2. Except as provided in subds. 3. and 4. and par. (gm) 4., the fee for a daily vehicle admission receipt is $7.85 $6.85 for any vehicle which has Wisconsin registration plates.

AB422-AA1,1e Section 1e. 27.01 (7) (f) 3. of the statutes, as affected by 2015 Wisconsin Act 55, is amended to read:

AB422-AA1,2,14 27.01 (7) (f) 3. Subject to par. (gm) 5., the fee for a daily vehicle admission receipt for a motor bus that has Wisconsin registration plates is $10.85 $9.85.

AB422-AA1,1f Section 1f. 27.01 (7) (g) 1. of the statutes, as affected by 2015 Wisconsin Act 55, is amended to read:

AB422-AA1,2,20 27.01 (7) (g) 1. Except as provided in par. (gm), the fee for an annual vehicle admission receipt is $37.50 $34.50 for any vehicle that has a registration plate or plates from another state, except that no fee is charged for a receipt issued under s. 29.235 (6).

AB422-AA1,1g Section 1g. 27.01 (7) (g) 2. of the statutes, as affected by 2015 Wisconsin Act 55, is amended to read:

AB422-AA1,2,25 27.01 (7) (g) 2. Except as provided in subds. 3. and 4., the fee for a daily vehicle admission receipt for any vehicle that has a registration plate or plates from another state is $10.85 $9.85.

AB422-AA1,1h Section 1h. 27.01 (7) (g) 3. of the statutes, as affected by 2015 Wisconsin Act 55, is amended to read:

AB422-AA1,3,5 27.01 (7) (g) 3. Subject to par. (gm) 5., the fee for a daily vehicle admission receipt for a motor bus that has a registration plate or plates from another state is $14.85 $13.85.

AB422-AA1,1i Section 1i. 27.01 (7) (gm) 1. of the statutes, as affected by 2015 Wisconsin Act 55, is amended to read:

AB422-AA1,3,12 27.01 (7) (gm) 1. Instead of the fees under pars. (f) 1. and (g) 1., the department shall charge an individual $15 $12 or $20 $17, respectively, for an annual vehicle admission receipt if the individual applying for the receipt or a member of his or her household owns a vehicle for which a current annual vehicle admission receipt has been issued for the applicable fee under par. (f) 1. or (g) 1.

AB422-AA1,1k Section 1k. 27.01 (7) (gm) 3. of the statutes, as affected by 2015 Wisconsin Act 55, is amended to read:

AB422-AA1,3,17 27.01 (7) (gm) 3. Notwithstanding par. (f) 1., the fee for an annual vehicle admission receipt for a vehicle that has Wisconsin registration plates and that is owned by a resident senior citizen, as defined in s. 29.001 (72), is $12.50 $9.50.

AB422-AA1,1L Section 1L. 27.01 (8) (c) 1. of the statutes, as affected by 2015 Wisconsin Act 55, is renumbered 27.01 (8) (c) and amended to read:

AB422-AA1,3,21 27.01 (8) (c) The department may establish by rule the amount of the admission fee to enter Heritage Hill state park or a state trail.

AB422-AA1,1m Section 1m. 27.01 (8) (c) 2. of the statutes, as created by 2015 Wisconsin Act 55, is repealed.

AB422-AA1,1n Section 1n. 27.01 (8) (c) 3. of the statutes, as created by 2015 Wisconsin Act 55, is repealed.

AB422-AA1,1p Section 1p. 27.01 (10) (d) 1. of the statutes, as affected by 2015 Wisconsin Act 55, is amended to read:

AB422-AA1,4,6 27.01 (10) (d) 1. The department shall charge a camping fee of not less than $15 but not more than $20, as determined by the secretary, for each night at a campsite in a state campground that is classified as a Type "A" campground by the department is $10 for a resident camping party, except as provided under par. (fm).

AB422-AA1,1q Section 1q. 27.01 (10) (d) 2. of the statutes, as affected by 2015 Wisconsin Act 55, is amended to read:

AB422-AA1,4,12 27.01 (10) (d) 2. The department shall charge a camping fee of not less than $19 but not more than $25, as determined by the secretary, for each night at a campsite in a state campground that is classified as a Type "A" campground by the department is $12 for a nonresident camping party, except as provided under par. (fm).

AB422-AA1,1r Section 1r. 27.01 (10) (d) 3. of the statutes is created to read:

AB422-AA1,4,16 27.01 (10) (d) 3. The camping fee for each night at a campsite in a state campground that is classified as a Type "B" campground by the department is $9 for a resident camping party.

AB422-AA1,1s Section 1s. 27.01 (10) (d) 4. of the statutes is created to read:

AB422-AA1,4,20 27.01 (10) (d) 4. The camping fee for each night at a campsite in a state campground that is classified as a Type "B" campground by the department is $11 for a nonresident camping party.

AB422-AA1,1t Section 1t. 27.01 (10) (d) 5. of the statutes is created to read:

AB422-AA1,4,24 27.01 (10) (d) 5. The camping fee for each night at a campsite in a campground that is classified as a Type "C" campground by the department is $8 for a resident camping party.

AB422-AA1,5,10 27.01 (10) (g) 2. An additional camping fee from $1.50 to $1.75, depending on whether the campground is Type "A," "B," or "C," per night for a nonresident camping party.

AB422-AA1,1x Section 1x. 27.01 (10) (g) 5. of the statutes, as created by 2015 Wisconsin Act 55, is repealed.

AB422-AA1,1y Section 1y. 227.01 (13) (xm) of the statutes, as created by 2015 Wisconsin Act 55, is repealed.".

AB422-AA1,5,22 "(2m) GPR state parks and state recreation areas positions. In the schedule under section 20.005 (3) of the statutes for the appropriation to the department of natural resources under section 20.370 (1) (ea) of the statutes, as affected by the acts of 2015, the dollar amount is increased by $4,668,800 for the second fiscal year of the fiscal biennium in which this subsection takes effect to increase the authorized FTE positions for the department of natural resources by 44.68 GPR state parks and state recreation areas positions.".
