AB242-AA5,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB242-AA5,1,3 1. Page 1, line 6: after “programs," insert “substance abuse treatment under the Medical Assistance program,".

AB242-AA5,1,4 2. Page 8, line 11: after that line insert:

AB242-AA5,1,5 “ Section 15k. 49.45 (30j) of the statutes is created to read:

AB242-AA5,1,9 49.45 (30j) Substance abuse treatment timing. The department shall ensure that any recipient of Medical Assistance under this subchapter has immediate access to alcohol and other drug abuse treatment that is provided as a benefit under s. 49.46 (2) without delay or a waiting list.”.
