AB567-AA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB567-AA1,1,4 1. Page 2, line 8: after “year" insert “in a county with a population of 25,000 or fewer residents or a population density of not more than 55 persons per square mile".

AB567-AA1,1,6 2. Page 2, line 11: after “residents" insert “or a population density of not more than 55 persons per square mile".

AB567-AA1,1,7 3. Page 3, line 5: after that line insert:

AB567-AA1,1,12 “(d) By September 30, 2019, the public defender board shall submit to the legislature for distribution under section 13.172 (2) of the statutes a report that evaluates the effectiveness of the student loan payment pilot program, recommends whether to continue the program, and if program continuation is recommended, provides recommendations for improving the effectiveness of program.”.
