SB133-SA2,1,11 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:
SB133-SA2,1,2 21. Page 2, line 1: before that line insert:
SB133-SA2,1,3 3 Section 1m. 100.62 of the statutes is created to read:
SB133-SA2,1,10 4100.62 Locks required for fuel pumps. (1) Locks required. Any person
5who sells or distributes motor vehicle fuel in this state and who dispenses that fuel
6from a pump capable of reading a credit or debit card shall ensure that each pump
7is locked to prevent access to the pump's internal card-reading mechanism. Locks
8used on pumps must be unique to the property on which the pumps are located and
9a key capable of opening a lock on one property may not be capable of opening a lock
10on another property.
SB133-SA2,1,12 11(2) Penalty. A person who violates sub. (1) is subject to a forfeiture of no more
12than $200.”.
