SENATE AMENDMENT 1, TO SENATE BILL 527

SB527-SA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

SB527-SA1,1,3 1. Page 1, line 3: delete the material beginning with that line and ending with page 2, line 13, and substitute:

SB527-SA1,1,5 “ Section 2g. 20.435 (1) (b) of the statutes, as affected by 2017 Wisconsin Act 59, is amended to read:

SB527-SA1,1,13 20.435 (1) (b) General aids and local assistance. The amounts in the schedule for aids and local assistance relating to public health services and, for grants for community programs under s. 46.48, and for grants under 2017 Wisconsin Act .... (this act), section 3 (1). Notwithstanding ss. 20.001 (3) (a) and 20.002 (1), the department may transfer funds between fiscal years under this paragraph. Except as otherwise provided in this paragraph, all funds allocated but not encumbered by December 31 of each year lapse to the general fund on the next January 1 unless carried forward to the next calendar year by the joint committee on finance.
