8applicable renewal fee determined by the department under s. 440.03 (9) (a).
9Renewal of an appraiser certificate automatically renews the individual's appraiser
10license without payment of the renewal fee for the appraiser license or completion
11of any additional continuing education requirements that would otherwise be
12required for renewal of the appraiser license. Renewal applications shall be
13accompanied by proof of completion of the continuing education requirements in s.
14458.13. Notwithstanding s. 458.06 (3) (b) 2. and (4) (b) 2., 1989 stats., and s. 458.08
15(3) (b) 2. and (c) 2., 1991 stats., the department may not renew a certificate that was
16granted under s. 458.06 (3) or (4) before May 29, 1993, unless the holder of the
17certificate submits evidence satisfactory to the department that he or she has
18successfully completed the applicable educational requirements specified in rules
19promulgated under s. 458.085 (1) and the department may not renew a certificate
20that was granted under s. 458.08 (3) before May 29, 1993, unless the holder of the
21certificate submits evidence satisfactory to the department that he or she has
22successfully completed the applicable education and experience requirements
23specified in rules promulgated under s. 458.085 (1) and (2).

AB204-ASA1,129 6Section 129 . Nonstatutory provisions.
AB204-ASA1,43,77 (1) (a) In this subsection:
AB204-ASA1,43,8 81. “Credentialing board” has the meaning given in s. 440.01 (2) (bm).
AB204-ASA1,43,9 92. “Department” means the department of safety and professional services.
AB204-ASA1,43,1810 (b) The department and each credentialing board may promulgate emergency
11rules under s. 227.24 necessary to implement this act. Notwithstanding s. 227.24 (1)
12(c) and (2), emergency rules promulgated under this paragraph remain in effect until
13May 1, 2025, or the date on which permanent rules take effect, whichever is sooner.
14Notwithstanding s. 227.24 (1) (a) and (3), neither the department nor any
15credentialing board is required to provide evidence that promulgating a rule under
16this paragraph as an emergency rule is necessary for the preservation of the public
17peace, health, safety, or welfare or provide a finding of emergency for a rule
18promulgated under this paragraph.
