AB394-AA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB394-AA1,1,3 1. Page 1, line 2: after “program" insert “and granting rule-making authority".

AB394-AA1,1,5 2. Page 2, line 2: delete the material beginning with “any" and ending with “A provider" on line 16 and substitute “a provider”.

AB394-AA1,1,6 3. Page 2, line 17: delete “1." and substitute “(a)".

AB394-AA1,1,7 4. Page 2, line 18: delete “a." and substitute “1.".

AB394-AA1,1,8 5. Page 2, line 20: delete “b." and substitute “2.".

AB394-AA1,1,9 6. Page 2, line 22: delete “c." and substitute “3.".

AB394-AA1,1,10 7. Page 2, line 25: delete “d." and substitute “4.".

AB394-AA1,1,12 9. Page 3, line 3: delete lines 3 to 8 and substitute:

AB394-AA1,2,2 “(2) (a) The department may provide a grant under sub. (1) solely for the purpose of funding a course in driver education for a specified individual.

AB394-AA1,2,5 (b) The department may provide a grant under sub. (1) solely for courses in driver education that are designed to result in an individual obtaining an initial operator's license authorizing the operation of only “Class D” vehicles.

AB394-AA1,2,8 (3) The amount of a grant under sub. (1) may not exceed the cost that would have been incurred by the individual under sub. (2) (a) in taking the course in driver education.

AB394-AA1,2,10 (4) The department may promulgate rules necessary to implement this section.”.
