AB689-AA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB689-AA1,1,3 1. Page 3, line 15: delete “For" and substitute “Except as provided in par. (am), for".

AB689-AA1,1,4 2. Page 3, line 17: after that line insert:

AB689-AA1,1,6 “(am) Paragraph (a) first applies to the 2nd eligible grant awarded to the same grant recipient after the effective date of this paragraph .... [LRB inserts date].”.

AB689-AA1,1,7 3. Page 4, line 10: after that line insert:

AB689-AA1,1,13 “(d) Moneys encumbered for an eligible grant that the department withholds under par. (a) and that the department does not pay to the eligible recipient under par. (b) due to the eligible recipient's failure to satisfy a performance objective specified in par. (b) may be reallocated as additional grant moneys to other eligible recipients under the same program who satisfy one or more of the performance objectives specified in par. (b).”.

AB689-AA1,2,3 4. Page 6, line 15: after “misdemeanor" insert “for a 2nd or subsequent violation and, for a first violation, shall be given notice of the penalty for a 2nd or subsequent violation but may not be subject to a penalty".
