SB768-SA1,1,11 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:
SB768-SA1,1,2 21. Page 1, line 2: before “dispensing" insert “self-service".
SB768-SA1,1,3 32. Page 1, line 3: after “gases" insert “and compressed natural gas".
SB768-SA1,1,5 43. Page 1, line 3: after “purposes" insert “and granting rule-making
5authority".
SB768-SA1,1,6 64. Page 2, line 6: delete lines 6 to 10 and substitute:
SB768-SA1,1,9 7“101.16 (2) (b) 1. The department may not promulgate a rule that prohibits
8self-service dispensing by the general public of compressed natural gas or liquefied
9petroleum gases into an individual vehicle fuel tank.
SB768-SA1,1,1210 2. The department may not promulgate a rule that requires completion of
11training to self-service dispense compressed natural gas or liquefied petroleum
12gases into an individual vehicle fuel tank.
SB768-SA1,3 13Section 3. 101.16 (2) (c) of the statutes is created to read:

1101.16 (2) (c) The department shall promulgate rules ensuring that safety
2requirements under this section and federal law are satisfied during self-service
3dispensing by the general public of compressed natural gas and liquefied petroleum
4gases and rules establishing requirements for the signage required under sub. (4) (d).
SB768-SA1,4 5Section 4. 101.16 (4) (d) of the statutes is created to read:
SB768-SA1,2,96 101.16 (4) (d) A person who owns a device used for self-service dispensing of
7compressed natural gas or liquefied petroleum gases shall display signage that
8provides step-by-step directions for fueling a vehicle and that advises users of safety
9requirements for fueling under state and federal law.”.
