This is to inform you that I have chosen Representative G. Spencer Coggs to fill the vacant position of ranking minority member on the Joint Finance Committee (JFC) effective immediately. As you know, Representative Barbara Linton's resignation from the Assembly was effective July 31st and so, too, was her membership on the JFC which left the ranking minority member seat unnamed.
