Oath of Office
On Thursday, April 22, 1999, Senate President Fred Risser administered the oath of office to Sarah Waukau of the Thirty-fifth Assembly District in a ceremony held in the city of Madison. The swearing in ceremony was repeated today during session in the Assembly Chamber. Representatives Pocan and Olsen escorted Sarah Waukau to the rostrum where the oath of office was administered by Speaker Pro Tempore Stephen Freese. After being sworn in, Representative Waukau addressed the members from the rostrum.
