Motion for Extraordinary Session
May 2, 2000
The following motion was approved by the committee on Assembly Organization and the committee on Senate Organization. The vote was 8-0 in the committee on Assembly Organization and 5-0 in the committee on Senate Organization.
In accordance with Joint Rule 81(2), it is moved that the Assembly Committee on Organization authorize the Legislature to meet in Extraordinary Session and expand the purposes of the extended floorperiod at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 2, 2000, for the consideration of the following legislative business:
1. Consideration of bills introduced by the Joint Committee on Employment Relations for the ratification of state employee collective bargaining contracts under § 111.92(1) of the statutes:
2. Consideration of Revisor's Correction bills; and
3. Consideration of a reconciliation bill relating to: public debt limit for housing state departments and agencies.
