The prayer was offered by Reverend Steven Peay of the Heritage Congregational Christian Church in Madison.
Specialist Chris Rhoades of the 34th Military Police Company of the Minnesota Army National Guard, son of Representative Rhoades, led the membership in reciting the pledge of allegiance to the flag of the United States of America.
