Special Guests
Representative Musser introduced Hometown Hero Recipient Erwin Begay of the Ho Chunk Youth Marathon Team from Black River Falls, and runners Amber Dowling, Heather Hillmer, Donovan Cloud, Ashley Blackcoon and Myra Blackdeer, who addressed the members from the rostrum.
Representative Kaufert introduced Hometown Hero Recipient Katie Kaufman from Neenah, who collected Teddy Bears to give to children in need in Winnebago County. Ms. Kaufman also collected more than 3000 Teddy Bears and donated them to the children in New York struggling with the aftermath of the September 11, 2001, terrorist attack.

On February 25, 2002, Senate Bill 17 relating to: the priority of a wage claim lien, was referred to the Assembly Committee on Financial Institutions. Pursuant to Assembly Rule 42 (3)(c), I hereby withdraw Senate Bill 17 from the Assembly Committee on Financial Institutions and re-refer that bill to the Assembly Committee on Labor and Workforce Development.
Representative Jeskewitz has been notified of this re-referral and approves.
