The Senate was called to order by Senator Fred Risser.

The Senate stood for the prayer which was offered by Reverend Donnie Sims of The Jerusalem Baptist Church in Milwaukee.
The Senate remained standing and Senator Baumgart led the Senate in the pledge of allegiance to the flag of the United States of America.
