Senate Bill 261
Relating to: creating a qualified new business venture tax credit and a capital gains tax exemption regarding investments in certified venture capital funds and qualified new business ventures, requiring a study of new Wisconsin businesses, facilitating the development of certain investor networks, and granting rule-making authority.

Pursuant to Senate Rule 36(2)(c) and section 13.52(6), Wisconsin Statutes, the Co-Chairs of the Joint Survey Committee on Tax Exemptions shall prepare and submit a report in writing setting forth an opinion on the desirability of Senate Bill 261, relating to creating a qualified new business venture tax credit and a capital gains tax exemption regarding investments in certified venture capital funds and qualified new business ventures, requiring a study of new Wisconsin businesses, facilitating the development of certain investor networks, and granting rule-making authority.
Senate Bill 262
Relating to: prohibiting a county from providing a grant to a nonprofit corporation from community aids unless the nonprofit corporation provides matching funds.
By Senators Reynolds and Lazich; cosponsored by Representatives Grothman, Ladwig, Seratti, Nass, Albers, Hahn and Townsend.
