hist24437Assembly Amendment 1 to Assembly Substitute 1 to Assembly Bill 718
1. Page 9, line 3: delete “suggest” and substitute reappoint”.
2. Page 9, line 4: delete “for reappointment”.
Note: When drafting an exception to the appointment procedures for positions appointed by the county executive in created s. 51.41, the drafter used the same language for the set of appointments whose nominees are suggested by the county board and those whose nominees are collected and then appointed by the county executive himself or herself. This correction eliminates the requirement that the county executive suggest individuals to himself or herself for appointment by himself or herself and makes no substantive change.
