I write to you today to inform you of my upcoming resignation of the 99th Assembly seat. On Thursday, August 6, 2015, I will be sworn into the 33rd Senate seat to which I was recently elected. In order to carry out the duties of this office, I hereby resign the 99th Assembly seat effective at the close of business on August 5, 2015.
Serving my neighbors in the 99th Assembly District for the last four and a half years has been an honor, and it has been a privilege to work with everyone associated with the Assembly. I look forward to continuing this work and partnership in the Senate.
