4schedule for general program operations under ch. 562. All moneys received by the
5gaming board department of administration under ss. 562.02 (2) (f), 562.04 (1) (b) 4.

15Section 230. 20.197 (1) (j) of the statutes is renumbered 20.505 (8) (j) and

19moneys received by the gaming board department of administration under ch. 563,

25Section 234. 20.225 (1) (b) of the statutes is amended to read:

120.225 (1) (b) Energy costs. The amounts in the schedule to pay for utilities and
2for fuel, heat and air conditioning, and to pay costs incurred under s. ss. 16.858 and
316.895, by or on behalf of the board, and to repay to the energy efficiency fund loans
4made to the board under s. 16.847 (6).

12Section 238. 20.235 (1) (g) of the statutes is amended to read:
13 20.235 (1) (g) Student loans. The amounts in the schedule for additional loans
14under s. 39.32, for repurchase of loans assigned, sold or conveyed and for repayment
15of advances by the investment board. All moneys received from the principal repaid
16on student loans made under s. 49.42, 1963 stats., and s. 39.32 other than principal
17repaid on loans assigned, sold or conveyed, and all moneys received as an advance
18from the investment board, under s. 25.17 (3) (bf), 1977 stats., shall be credited to this
19appropriation. Moneys credited to the department of education higher educational
20aids board
as a result of investments shall be considered under this appropriation
21as repayments. The amount of advances to the department of education higher
22educational aids board
charged against the authorization under s. 25.17 (3) (bf), 1977
23stats., shall be decreased by the amount of any repayments to the investment board
24under this appropriation. Advances repaid to the investment board shall be
25reappropriated to the department of education higher educational aids board for the

1purpose of providing additional loans subject to s. 25.17 (3) (bf) 2., 1977 stats.
2Principal repayments on loans assigned, sold or conveyed shall be repaid under this
3appropriation. The state auditor may annually audit the portfolio of student loans
4and notes thereon in the possession of the department of education higher
5educational aids board
and report his or her determination of the current condition
6of the student notes receivable portfolio to the investment board, the joint committee
7on finance, the department of education higher educational aids board and the
8department of administration.
9Section 239. 20.235 (2) (aa) of the statutes is created to read:
10 20.235 (2) (aa) General program operations. The amounts in the schedule for
11general program operations.
12Section 240. 20.235 (2) (bd) of the statutes is amended to read:
13 20.235 (2) (bd) Purchase of defective student loans. A sum sufficient for the
14repurchase of student loans made under s. 39.32 that have been sold by the
15department of education higher educational aids board or the building commission
16and subsequently found to be defective.
17Section 241. 20.235 (2) (n) of the statutes is created to read:
18 20.235 (2) (n) Federal aid; state operations. All moneys received from the
19federal government as authorized by the governor under s. 16.54 to carry out the
20purpose for which made. The executive secretary of the board may transfer not more
21than $150,000 from this appropriation for purposes of carrying out the functions
22under s. 39.33.
23Section 242. 20.235 (3) (title) of the statutes is created to read:

25Section 243. 20.245 (2) (c) of the statutes is amended to read:

2historic sites operated by the society at Eagle, Greenbush, Cassville, Mineral Point,
3Madeline Island and Prairie du Chien to pay for utilities and for fuel, heat and air

5ss. 16.858 and 16.895, and to repay to the energy efficiency fund loans made to the

7Section 244. 20.245 (4) (c) of the statutes is amended to read:

9historical society building located at 816 State Street in the city of Madison to pay
10for utilities and for fuel, heat and air conditioning, to pay costs incurred by or on

13Section 245. 20.245 (5) (c) of the statutes is amended to read:

6Section 248. 20.255 (1) (c) of the statutes is amended to read:

8schools for the deaf and visually handicapped to pay for utilities and for fuel, heat
9and air conditioning, to pay costs incurred by or on behalf of the department under

12Section 249. 20.255 (1) (dw) of the statutes is amended to read:

22according to the spending plan under s. 119.80. The department of education public

may not distribute any funds in the appropriation under this paragraph
