1Relating to: creating a committee of conference on 2001 Senate Bill 55, the
2executive budget bill of the 2001 legislature.

3Resolved by the assembly, the senate concurring, That, upon the adoption
4of this joint resolution by the assembly and concurrence therein by the senate and
5notwithstanding joint rule 3, there is created a committee of conference on 2001
6Senate Bill 55, relating to state finances and appropriations, constituting the
7executive budget bill of the 2001 legislature, to reconcile the differences between the
82 houses, and to present its report on the bill to the 2 houses; and, be it further

9Resolved, That, notwithstanding joint rule 3 (intro.), the committee of
10conference shall consist of 3 members of the majority party and one member of the
11minority party from each house; and, be it further

(1) The committee of conference shall be a "closed conference," with the
14authority of the members of the committee limited to reconciling the differences in
1the positions of the 2 houses as reflected by the proposal as engrossed by the first
2house, and the proposal, as concurred in and amended by the 2nd house.

(2) Neither house may consider a report if it contains an agreement that
4recommends the approval of and concurrence in any issue not authorized under sub.
5(1).
