SB339,1,2 1An Act to create 118.12 (4) of the statutes; relating to: exclusive contracts for
2the sale of soft drinks in schools.

Under this bill, if a school board enters into a contract that grants to one vendor
the exclusive right to sell soft drinks in one or more schools of the school district, the
school board must ensure that milk is available to pupils in each school covered by
the contract whenever and wherever the soft drinks are available to pupils.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
SB339, s. 1 3Section 1. 118.12 (4) of the statutes is created to read:
SB339,1,74 118.12 (4) If a school board enters into a contract that grants to one vendor the

6school board shall ensure that milk is available to pupils in each school covered by
7the contract whenever and wherever the soft drinks are available to pupils.
