SJR13,1,43 Whereas, Tommy G. Thompson was first elected to public office in 1966, as a
4member of the Wisconsin state assembly; and
SJR13,1,65 Whereas, Tommy G. Thompson was elected governor of the great state of
6Wisconsin in 1986; and
SJR13,1,87 Whereas, Tommy G. Thompson has devoted 35 years to making Wisconsin a
8great place to live, work, and raise a family; and
SJR13,1,119 Whereas, Tommy G. Thompson has been nominated by President Bush and
10confirmed by the U.S. Senate to serve as the U.S. secretary of health and human
11services, now, therefore, be it
SJR13,2,2 12Resolved by the senate, the assembly concurring, That the legislature of
13the state of Wisconsin hereby commends and congratulates Tommy G. Thompson for

1his public service to the people of Wisconsin and wishes him the best of luck in his
