SJR14,1,2 Relating to: modifying the session schedule for the 2001-2002 biennial session period and extending the deadline for the governor's budget message.

This joint resolution modifies the session schedule of the legislature to extend the deadline for the governor's budget message until February 20, 2001; and extends the February floorperiod until February 20, 2001, solely for the introduction of the biennial budget bill and meeting in joint convention for delivery of the governor's budget message.

SJR14,1,3 Resolved by the senate, the assembly concurring, That:

SJR14, s. 1 Section 1. 2001-2002 Session schedule modified. The session schedule of the legislature set forth by 2001 Senate Joint Resolution 1 (Enrolled Joint Resolution 1) is modified as follows:

SJR14,1,10 (1) Budget deadline extended. The deadline of Tuesday, January 30, 2001, set by section 16.45 of the statutes for introduction of the executive budget bill or bills, submittal of the state budget report, and delivery of the governor's budget message, is extended to Tuesday, February 20, 2001.

SJR14,2,4 (2) Floorperiod extended. The floorperiod that commences on Tuesday, February 13, 2001, at 10 a.m., is extended to end on Tuesday, February 20, 2001, solely for the introduction of the biennial budget bill and meeting in joint convention for delivery of the governor's budget message.
