The renumbering and amendment of section 49.148 (1m) (a) (with respect to a custodial parent's eligibility for a grant) of the statutes first applies to individuals who are determined, on the effective date of this paragraph, to be eligible for the Wisconsin Works program under sections 49.141 to 49.161 of the statutes and to be custodial parents of children who are 26 weeks old or less.
