Note: Prohibits pointing a laser pointer at a GLIFWC warden, as current law
prohibits pointing a laser pointer at a law enforcement or correctional officer.
SB299, s. 39 16Section 39. 941.31 (2) (c) of the statutes is amended to read:
SB299,15,217 941.31 (2) (c) This subsection does not apply to the transportation, possession,
18use, or transfer of any improvised explosive device by any armed forces or national
19guard personnel or to any peace officer in the line of duty or as part of a duty-related
20function or exercise. The restriction on transportation in this subsection does not

1apply to common carriers. Notwithstanding s. 939.22 (22), this paragraph does not
2apply to a commission warden.
Note: Specifies that GLIFWC wardens are not exempt from the prohibition of the
transportation, possession, use, or transfer of an improvised explosive device.
