Whereas, Sgt. Clint A. Sikorski was born on March 5, 1987, in Wausau,
3Wisconsin, the son of the late Robert Sikorski and Walline (Wadzinski) Sikorski and
4died on October 17, 2008, at Madigan Army Medical Center from injuries sustained
5while stationed at Fort Lewis, Washington; and

Whereas, Sgt. Clint Sikorski was a 2005 graduate of Wausau East High School
7and entered the United States Army in Milwaukee in 2005. He was previously
8posted in Korea but was stationed at Fort Lewis Base, Washington beginning in July
9of 2007, where he was a member of the 1st Battalion, 377th Field Artillery Regiment,
1017th Fires Brigade; and

Whereas, Sgt. Sikorski's family is very proud of him and knows that he died
12doing what he wanted to do, serve the nation and fight for freedom; and

Whereas, Sgt. Sikorski embodied the United States Army core values of loyalty,
14duty, respect, selfless service, honor, integrity, and personal courage and he will be
15sorely missed; now, therefore, be it

1Resolved by the senate, the assembly concurring, That the legislature of
2the state of Wisconsin commemorates the remarkable life of Sgt. Clint Sikorski and
3extends its deepest sympathies to his family, friends, and colleagues; and

4Be it further resolved, That the senate chief clerk shall transmit a copy of
5this joint resolution to Sgt. Sikorski's mother, Walline Sikorski of Wausau, Wisconsin
6and his three siblings, Bobbi Jo Burk and Maureen Sikorski, both of Wausau and
7Kenny Kroeplin, Eau Claire.
