2operations and making an appropriation.

This bill authorizes eight full time equivalent positions to the Department of
Natural Resources for monitoring industrial sand mining and processing operations
and provides funding for those positions from the environmental fund.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
AB306,1 3Section 1. Fiscal changes.
AB306,2,74 (1) Industrial sand operation monitoring. In the schedule under section
520.005 (3) of the statutes for the appropriation to the department of natural
6resources under section 20.370 (3) (mq) of the statutes, as affected by the acts of 2013,
7the dollar amount is increased by $446,800 for the first fiscal year of the fiscal
8biennium in which this subsection takes effect to increase the authorized FTE

1positions for the department by 8.0 SEG positions for monitoring industrial sand
2mining and processing operations. In the schedule under section 20.005 (3) of the
3statutes for the appropriation to the department of natural resources under section
420.370 (3) (mq) of the statutes, as affected by the acts of 2013, the dollar amount is
5increased by $893,600 for the second fiscal year of the fiscal biennium in which this
6subsection takes effect to provide funding for the positions authorized in this
7subsection.
