2raffle ticket.
Analysis by the Legislative Reference Bureau
Under current law, certain religious, charitable, service, fraternal, veteran's, or
tax-exempt organizations may obtain a Class A or Class B raffle license. A Class A
raffle license allows an organization to conduct raffles in which at least some tickets
are sold on days other than the day of the drawing. A Class B raffle license allows
an organization to conduct raffles in which all tickets are sold on the same day as the
drawing. Current law limits the price of a Class A raffle ticket to $100. This bill
increases the limit on the price of a Class A raffle ticket to $500.
