AB529,21,1614 (a) Assets and liabilities. On the effective date of this paragraph, the assets and
15liabilities of the division of personnel management in the department of
16administration become the assets and liabilities of the office of civil service.
AB529,21,2017 (b) Positions and employees. On the effective date of this paragraph, all
18positions and all incumbent employees in the classified service of the state civil
19service holding those positions in the division of personnel management in the
20department of administration are transferred to the office of civil service.
AB529,21,2521 (c) Employee status. Employees transferred under paragraph (b ) have all the
22rights and the same status under chapter 230 of the statutes that they enjoyed
23immediately before the transfer. Notwithstanding section 230.28 (4) of the statutes,
24no employee so transferred who has attained permanent status in class is required
25to serve a probationary period.

1(d) Tangible personal property. On the effective date of this paragraph, all

7paragraph is transferred to the office of civil service. All materials submitted to or
8actions taken by the division of personnel management are considered as having
9been submitted to or taken by the office of civil service.
AB529,22,1510 (f) Contracts. All contracts entered into by the division of personnel
11management in the department of administration in effect on the effective date of
12this paragraph remain in effect and are transferred to the office of civil service. The
13office of civil service shall carry out any obligations under those contracts unless
14modified or rescinded by the office of civil service to the extent allowed under the
15contract.
AB529,22,2216 (g) Rules and orders. All rules promulgated by the division of personnel
17management in the department of administration in effect on the effective date of
18this paragraph remain in effect until their specified expiration dates or until
19amended or repealed by the office of civil service. All orders issued by the division
20of personnel management in effect on the effective date of this paragraph remain in
21effect until their specified expiration dates or until modified or rescinded by the office
22of civil service.
