1An Act to renumber and amend 45.57 (1); and
to create 45.57 (1) (b) of the

relating to: transfer of the unencumbered balance of certain

This bill requires the Department of Veterans Affairs to obtain the prior
approval of the Joint Committee on Finance before the department transfers the
unencumbered balance of certain appropriations for veterans homes to the veterans
trust fund or the veterans mortgage loan repayment fund. Current law does not
require JCF approval for those transfers.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
